FAQ

Internet Sales
Internet sales are redeemable with your printed receipt at our ticket booth on the day. All receipts will be scanned and cross referenced to our data base at this entry point. We have a “first in accepted policy” so if numerous receipts are illegally printed, the system will be able to verify if fraudulent duplicated internet receipts are printed. Management accepts no liability for any duplicated receipts / tickets, as refusal of duplicated receipts is Vintage Blues written policy.

Can juveniles (under 18 years old) attend the event?
Yes, but they MUST be accompanied by a Parent / Legal Guardian at all times in the venue. A "brother or sister" does not meet these legal requirements as an example. Accompanied children are free of charge if under 12 years of age. By order of the Racing, Gaming and Liquor department.

Do I need ID to gain entry?
Yes. Being a licensed premise, you must have legal ID for entry if asked by security being:- Passport, Drivers License with Photo or 18+ Government card, these are the ONLY forms of ID accepted.

Can we bring beverage into the venue?
Only brand new sealed water is OK and special dietary needs for infants or health reasons. We do sell cold water, provide free potable water taps on site and sell normal and diet cool drinks in the venue.

Can I bring food / eskies / chairs into the venue?
Yes however you will pass through a security check point before entering the venue. Management has the right to reject specific objects if they do not meet policy criteria. Umbrellas are not allowed as they obstruct viewing from behind spectators.

Absolutely forbidden according to our liquor license

At the early stage yes, however we recommend you have cash on you for purchases.

Yes, we provide a free bus service (please look at Map section of this site) and taxis are on site (we have a rank) throughout the event. Taxis WILL NOT pick up customers on Chester Pass Road for safety reasons!

Can we bring pets onto the farm and venue?
Absolutely not, unless the animal is a registered carers dog or guide dog.

Can we camp at the premises?
The property is not licensed for camping and the free bus service does drop off at points along Albany Highway at appropriate sights available in town.

Can we consume alcohol in our car on the property?
Our rules stipulate no. Also police define this as "Street Drinking" as the carpark is open to the public, thus being a "temporary public road" so it is an illegal act. It should be NOTED that this also applies to driving a vehicle in the carpark - you are not on "a farm" in the legal sense.

Are tickets refundable if we cannot make it to the event for personal reasons?
NO - stipulations are on the rear of the ticket.

If I am unruly and escorted out by security, can I get a refund and remain on the property?
NO.

Is smoking allowed in the venue?
Yes and No. Smoking is not allowed in enclosed areas like toilets etc. Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas but common courtesy should be acted on for your neighbours comfort. NO smoking is allowed next door or in the children's play area and food areas.
